Pole Dance exercise Pole dancing has gained popularity as a form of exercise, with increased awareness of the benefits to general strength and fitness. This form of exercise increases core and general body strength by using the body itself as resistance, while toning the body as a whole. It is also an addictive and empowering experience that is great fun and helps to build confidence.
Contemporary Contemporary dance was developed in the early 20th century as a reaction against the rigid techniques of ballet. Pioneers such as Isadora Duncan and Martha Graham searched for ease of movement using the body's natural lines and energy, allowing a greater range and fluidity of movement than conventional dance techniques. Contemporary dance is characterised by its versatility: contemporary can be danced to almost any style of music, or united with other dance forms to create new styles of movement. Contemporary seeks to work with the natural alignment of the body, and is therefore safe and accessible for beginners. At the same time, the ease of movement promoted by contemporary dance technique allows experienced dancers to push new boundaries of body movement.
Jazz Jazz has become one of the most popular dance styles in recent years, mainly due to its popularity on television shows, movies, music videos and commercials. People enjoy watching jazz dancers, as the dancing is fun and energetic. Jazz dancing is a form of dance that showcases a dancer's individual style and originality. Every jazz dancer interprets and executes moves and steps in their own way. Jazz dancing is energetic and fun, consisting of unique moves, fancy footwork, big leaps and quick turns. Within our classes we cover all styles of jazz including Commercial, Street, Classical and Hip Hop.
Burlesque Burlesque is a fun, social class that explores the bodies lines and positions. We look at the art of strip tease, working our corsets, gloves and tassels! We work on various showgirl routines using both traditional and up to date music. The class is designed to help build confidence and encourages clients to love themselves regardless of shape or size. Bring you heels and your sass.
Commercial Commercial refers to dancing done in concerts, live shows, music videos and movies etc. There are many different styles of dance that can be worked into the commercial category, such as hip hop, jazz, breakdancing, and more. Sometimes, you'll find ballet and ballroom thrown into the mix, although "street dance" is more common. Generally speaking, commercial dance is super sexy and super entertaining.

Private tuition is available in all styles of dance. We also do private courses for personally customised first wedding dances for brides and grooms to be.

In addition to the lessons above we can also organise children's parties. We also run summer school in the holidays so please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
